Transporting machinery or equipment containing dangerous goods by road or rail

Note giving guidance on how to prevent the leakage of dangerous goods in machinery or equipment during transport.

The regulations concerning the transport of machinery or equipment containing dangerous goods changed 1 January 2019.

The provision which previously exempted many items of machinery or equipment containing dangerous goods from the regulations has been deleted.

This guidance provides information on how to comply with the new provisions.
