Record a public service vehicle's details with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) so you get the right documents and can book an annual test (MOT).
After you or the dealer register your public service vehicle (PSV) with DVLA, you must record the PSV’s details with DVSA, in order that an annual test (MOT) can be booked for the vehicle.
The correct form (which has details of the documents reuired) needs to be used and the type depends on whether the vehicle was approved under the:
- European Community Whole Vehicle Type Approval or GB Type Approval Scheme schemes
- Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) scheme
There’s no fee to record the vehicle details with DVSA and completed forms together with supporting documents can be emailed to psvtech@dvsa.gov.uk .
